Hi there! I'm known online as Nori. I registered this domain on 21 December 2015, Monday after I submitted my application to run the BB-8 fanlisting to I received the approval email on 11 January 2016, Monday. I originally intended to run a plain ol' fanlisting but I have a feeling this will become a bigger project as my love for BB-8 knows no bounds.

I believe I was 6 years old when my dad first introduced me to Star Wars. It was my first vivid memory of him. I still very distinctly remember him letting me hold the giant LaserDiscs in my little hands. I had fallen in love with R2-D2 and dreamed of becoming a Jedi when I grew up. My favorite cousin — let's call her B — shared this dream.

B passed away in 2010. Less than a year later, my dad also passed away. This was around the time I lost the majority of my fanlistings. I just couldn't bear to touch anything that reminded me of them. I remember contacting someone from and they were really nice and helped me get some of my fanlistings back but I have to admit that my heart wasn't in it anymore. I still feel an overwhelming sense of loss when I think of them. I hadn't watched Star Wars since they passed away. I couldn't bear it.

The first moment BB-8 came on screen... Well, I think Mark Hamill said it best, "How are you ever gonna top R2-D2, the most adorable droid in movie history?" I felt a spark...something I haven't felt in a long time. I felt like that 6-year-old little girl again. I had fallen in love all over again. All I could think of was how my dad and my cousin would have loved him! Dare I say him more than R2-D2!!! I still feel a little guilty that BB-8 is now my favorite droid but R2-D2 will always have a special place in my heart. My husband got me the BB-8 Sphero for Christmas - I was not supposed to open it until Christmas but he relented when he saw my incredibly sad face. He patrols my desk and bleeps and bloops to his heart's content. He tilts his head and looks at me like he knows what I'm thinking and I know in my heart, this is the droid I'm looking for. ;)

I would like to thank two of my best friends, Amber Dodson ♥ and Kyle Wilson ♥ for helping me create this website. Amber painstakingly created all the graphics while Kyle drew the adorable BB-8 image. I'm so lucky to have you as my friends!

If you stumble upon a droid named DB-9 somewhere on this website, please note that he was created by Kyle Wilson and you may not use him on any other site for any reason.

Thank you to Angela Sabas at Indiscripts for the Enthusiast fanlisting management script.
